Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the commercial strategy for Four Points by Sheraton Airport Westshore. This leader will be responsible for driving top-line revenue performance, increasing market share, and positioning the hotel for long-term success.

The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with revenue goals and brand positioning
     
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed performance targets
     
  • Drive group, corporate, and transient business through proactive and reactive sales efforts
     
  • Partner closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability
     
  • Strengthen the hotel’s presence within the local Tampa market through networking and community engagement
     
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, brand compliance, and online reputation management
     
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand generators to identify opportunities
     
  • Prepare and present forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to ownership and leadership
     

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive hotel sales leadership experience
     
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and market share
     
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and develop teams
     
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
     
  • Marriott brand experience and systems knowledge preferred (e.g., CI/TY, MGS, Delphi)
     
  • Knowledge of the Tampa market is a strong advantage
