What does Head of Global Alliance do?
This position is for fixed data segment in Carrier and International Business team. The role ensures revenue growth, commercial governance, operational excellence, and strategic expansion of all carrier partnerships for fixed data products. It requires strong leadership, industry knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and high-value global relationships. Position demands extensive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires someone with strong technical knowledge for Fixed Networks (Local and International) and good communication skills. This is an individual contributor role.
Global Alliance & Business Development
· Identify, onboard, and manage global alliance partners for data, connectivity, IP transit & digital solutions
· Develop long-term partnership models, including revenue-sharing, co-location, interconnection, and co-marketing initiatives.
· Align alliance strategies with organizational goals to enable expansion into new geographies and service.
· Coordinate and implement all initiatives assigned by the Head C&IB for the achievement of the budgeted results.
· Build, maintain, and grow strategic relationships with regional and global carriers, telecom operators, service providers, and OTT partners.
· Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring seamless coordination across commercial and operational teams.
· Conduct periodic Joint Business Reviews (JBRs) to evaluate performance and new opportunities.
· Devise Go-to Market for fixed business targeting operators and Carriers
· Frequent customer visits to tap the untapped and increase customer base for the segment
Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy
· Meet and exceed annual revenue and margin targets through effective account planning and cross-selling.
· Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnership models, and regional/global market trends.
· Prepare commercial proposals, contract negotiations, and finalize agreements from Legal Finance and relevant teams.
· Drive expansion of wholesale products such as IPLC, DIA, IP Transit, MPLS, Cloud Connectivity, and Data Center services.
· Coordinate and to end to end responsible for Solutions Design, Right Technology, Product, Billing, NOC, and co ordinate Service Delivery teams to ensure timely activation and resolution of services.
· Monitor service KPIs and proactively manage escalations to ensure superior customer experience for partners.
· Ensure smooth operational governance across trouble tickets, billing disputes, traffic trends, and service quality
· Build, enhance and maintain business relationship
· Improve business revenue through innovative ideas.
Market Intelligence & Product Enablement
· Track global wholesale, digital infrastructure, and carrier industry trends including pricing, regulations, and competitive developments.
· Provide feedback to Product and Strategy teams on market needs, new service ideas, and emerging technologies.
· Support marketing and product teams in preparing collateral, case studies, and product positioning for partner engagements.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree (min), candidate with at least 8-10 years of telecom experience in serving carriers and operators in international markets.
Experience in or pre-sale /solution design for Domestic and International networks and data centers will be a plus.
Candidate must have following skills:
