Position Summary:
As an Irrigation Field Technician, you’ll play a direct role in protecting and enhancing residential and commercial properties throughout the Lansing area while earning $19–$27 per hour with a clear path for growth. Each day, you’ll manage a structured route, diagnose and repair irrigation systems, and represent a company that has been trusted since 1976. What you’ll do:
- Diagnose and repair irrigation systems, including valves, heads, wiring, and controllers.
- Perform seasonal system startups, winterizations, inspections, and routine maintenance.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and completed work.
- Maintain organized service vehicles, accurate job notes, and proper documentation.
- Uphold Spartan Irrigation’s standards for quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism in every service call.
- Experience: A strong knowledge of tools and a high mechanical aptitude.
