About the Role

Competitive hourly rates start at $25 / hour plus bonus commission

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome all patients with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor to ensure a positive first impression.

Provide reassurance and compassionate support to anxious or hesitant patients, acknowledging their effort in seeking care.

Clearly communicate the clinical benefits of proposed orthodontic and dental treatments, including a breakdown of insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and out-of-pocket costs.

Partner with the team to guide patients through third-party financing options, including assisting with applications and explaining credit check procedures.

Utilize creative problem-solving to help patients access and complete the care they need.

Prepare and deliver all necessary documentation to the front desk for processing and ensure accurate uploads to patient charts.

Maintain detailed notes outlining treatment conversations, financial estimates, required authorizations, and next steps to support seamless patient care.

Qualifications

Solid understanding of dental and orthodontic procedures, including restorative and cosmetic treatments.

Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.

Commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education in dental, orthodontic, or healthcare administration to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Familiarity with dental insurance plans (PPO, DMO, DHMO, NYS Managed Care) and ADA codes is a plus.
