Job Description
Purpose: The purpose of this position is to supervise product audits (functional, barrier, assemblies) across value stream & error free product & PPAP dispatches to Customers (external & plant to plant).
Primary responsibility:
1. Product Quality / Process Audit
Conducting & supervising various product and process quality audits as per defined SOP across shifts
Regular check and release of blocked & re qualify SLE parts/pumps for production based on risk
Ensure SOP of new releases in case of deviation and regularize the same through concessions release of daily MIS
2. Production part approval process
Coordination for PPAP pumps, Spec editing for new layouts, creation/ updation of CAVIS and audit systems
Supervise for mapping of pumps.
3. Change Management & Q improvements
Inform & participate during various change management & improvement events (Concession & ECR, trial order approval, FMEA like walk, LL, IDC reduction etc) & VSO meetings (daily basis). Prepare for various external audits.
4. Team Supervision
Orientation & Training to newly joiners (including felxi manpower) ensure skill evaluation & development as per 3 shift plan Support in completion & evaluation of improvement projects of associates (SCIP, suggestions, VSO, etc).
5. Investigation/complaints Management
Participate in customer complaints Investigation (0 Km, field complaints) & internal rejections analysis to assess failure mode in product.
6. Escalation management
Identify and escalate the risk associates with product quality based on various audits.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical
Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience in quality / manufacturing (assembly and component
manufacturing)
