Marketing and Content Specialist

Position Summary

We are a food manufacturing and meat processing company seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Content Specialist to support and execute company marketing initiatives across digital and print platforms. This role is responsible for managing social media presence, developing marketing materials, supporting brand consistency, and creating visual content that promotes our products and services within the food and meat processing industry.

This is a hands-on, onsite position ideal for someone who enjoys both creative design work and day-to-day marketing execution in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Manage and maintain company social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with marketing goals
• Monitor engagement, respond to messages/comments, and track performance metrics
• Assist in developing campaigns to increase brand awareness and audience engagement
• Showcase company products, processes, and culture in the food manufacturing space

Graphic Design & Marketing Materials

• Design marketing collateral including:
  • Flyers
  • Brochures & pamphlets
  • Sales materials
  • Digital advertisements
  • Internal communications materials
• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing assets
• Update and edit website content as needed

Content Creation

• Capture and edit photography for marketing and promotional use, including food products and production facilities
• Assist with or produce video content for social media and marketing campaigns (preferred)
• Support product marketing through visual storytelling and promotional media

Product & Sales Support

• Create and maintain product spec sheets
• Support marketing needs for sales initiatives, events, and promotions
• Coordinate marketing materials for internal departments as needed

General Marketing Support

• Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and company events
• Organize and maintain marketing asset libraries
• Collaborate with leadership and sales teams to support business objectives
• Perform additional marketing-related duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing or related field preferred
• Experience managing business social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)
• Experience creating marketing materials for print and digital use
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written and visual communication skills
• Website editing experience preferred
• Photography and videography experience preferred
• Experience or interest in the food manufacturing or meat processing industry is a plus

Work Environment

• Full-time, hourly position
• Onsite role located in Carlton, Oregon
• Collaborative, fast-paced work environment within a food manufacturing and meat processing facility
