The Gardens at Columbine is an assisted living community which also includes memory care in Littleton, CO. It is a locally owned and private pay boutique-style community operating since the year 2000. The campus has 2 separate residences, one for assisted living with 99 apartments and the other for memory care with 26 private apartments. Some of the unique features are: 24/7 nurses on campus; 3 acres of botanic gardens and walking paths; fine dining restaurant style; assisted living apartments include studios, one and two bedrooms; all memory care apartments include private bathrooms. Activities Assistant – Part Time

The Gardens at Columbine is looking for a dependable and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position working Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with the ability to pick up weekend shifts as needed.

In this role, you will plan and lead engaging group activities for our residents across all levels of care, including assisted living and memory care. You'll play a direct role in the daily quality of life for the people we serve.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday | Weekend availability as needed

Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Lead and facilitate scheduled group activities for residents
Adapt programming to meet the needs of residents across all care levels
Support a positive, engaging environment for all participants
Maintain accurate activity attendance and documentation
Collaborate with the Activities Director and care team

Requirements:

No prior experience required — we will train the right person
Genuine interest in working with older adults
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Ability to work weekends when needed
