PURPOSE
Assist the Security Shift Supervisor by overseeing Security Dispatchers and Officers, providing training to security personnel, and ensuring that safety and security protocols are followed. Perform the duties of the Security Shift Supervisor in their absence and support the development of the Security team through training, coaching, and guidance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Security Performance Standards: Demonstrate approved performance standards while protecting assets, safety, and security. Assist in developing recommendations for addressing safety and security risks.
- Loss Prevention: Perform loss prevention duties to protect organizational assets and mitigate risks across the company.
- Monitor Safety and Corrective Action: Document safety hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly to maintain a safe environment.
- Supervise Personnel: Oversee and assign shift personnel to ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Act as Shift Supervisor: Perform Shift Supervisor duties in their absence, ensuring all security operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide clear and concise information in reports, memos, and training sessions to ensure the effective transfer of knowledge.
- Conflict Resolution and Incident Investigation: Resolve conflicts and investigate incidents using sound decision-making and investigative techniques.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with scheduling, payroll, and roll call processes to ensure staffing and payroll records are up to date.
- Departmental Support: Support Team Members in performing security duties when needed, ensuring adequate coverage and assistance.
- Confidentiality and Legal Responsibilities: Maintain confidentiality of organizational information and provide testimony as required in legal or administrative matters.
- Training Delivery and Evaluation: Provide initial and ongoing training to Officers, conduct in-service training for Casino & Hotel Team Members, and assess performance through regular evaluations, offering feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Training Facilitation: Deliver training effectively by adapting to diverse learning styles, ensuring consistency and efficiency in training programs.
- Additional Duties as Assigned: Perform other duties as needed to ensure the safety and security of the organization.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma / GED, Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED), or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field.
- Minimum of six (6) months of employment as a Security Officer (Officer II) at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel.
- Must successfully complete the Field Training Officer training within three (3) months of promotion.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows Operating Systems.
- Strong teamwork and guest relations skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and constructive feedback.
- Ability to respond effectively to incidents and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong organizational and conflict-resolution skills.
PREFERRED
Education and Certifications
- Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement, Security, or a related field.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience overseeing ten (10) or more individuals.
Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
