Job Description

Joining our mechanical team, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of resource projects, supporting mechanical design from concept through to execution. You’ll contribute to the development of new infrastructure and fixed plant systems, as well as upgrades and brownfield modifications to existing operations, while gaining hands-on experience across underground project delivery and emerging decarbonisation initiatives.

How you’ll make a difference:

  • Support mechanical design across all project phases, from early studies through to detailed design and execution
  • Assist in the development of mine services infrastructure, including dewatering, ventilation, facilities, and associated mechanical systems
  • Contribute to both greenfield developments and brownfield upgrades to existing operations
  • Support procurement, vendor coordination, and the preparation of technical design documentation
  • Assist in delivering safe, reliable, and constructable engineering outcomes, including exposure to construction and commissioning activities

Qualifications

  • Graduate Attributes: We’re seeking graduates with strong communication and teamwork skills, a proactive and adaptable mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline. 
  • Areas of Interest: Industrial processes / fuels / future fuel / energy / electricity generation.
  • Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
  • Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2027. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2027.
  • Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
