Position SummaryDefense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a Social Media Intern to support content creation, platform management, and audience engagement across digital channels. The ideal candidate will assist in executing social media strategies that enhance brand visibility and engagement.
This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple social media platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Scheduling
Create, edit, and schedule social media content across platforms.
Assist in developing engaging posts aligned with brand voice and marketing goals.
Monitor content calendars and ensure timely posting.
Community Engagement
Respond to comments, messages, and audience interactions.
Monitor social channels for trends and engagement opportunities.
Support brand reputation through active online presence.
Reporting & Analytics
Track engagement metrics and social media performance.
Assist in preparing reports and insights for campaigns.
Identify opportunities for improvement based on data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing and communications teams.
Support campaign initiatives and content planning.
Assist leadership in improving social media processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or in progress).
0–2 years of experience in social media or digital marketing.
Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
Strong written communication and creative skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Basic understanding of analytics tools and reporting.
