Mercier Consultancy MD is looking for a dedicated Account Manager to join our team on a maternity cover basis for a fixed term of 2 years. This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage key client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and skilled at maintaining strong client partnerships to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the main point of contact.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver services that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns effectively.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, including sales forecasts and client feedback.
- Adapt quickly and efficiently during the maternity cover period to ensure seamless continuity of service.
Our most successful candidates will have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- Three years operations and management experience; Process transformation experience required
- Strong analytical skills; be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements - Demonstrated leadership skills; be able to take the lead in making improvements and resolving issues
- Ability to efficiently manage time and keep track of multiple schedules, meetings, and initiatives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner
- Experience in managing mid-size team 100-200 FTEs is a benefit
- Background in the travel vertical/industry will be a major plus
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications, previous experience managing mid to large teams and travel experience is an advantage
