Summer Restaurant Runner (Seasonal)

Hourly Pay – Part Time

Reports to: Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a Runners to safely and effectively transport meals and food from preparation area so they can be delivered to our guests maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service.

An excellent runner will have an exceptional attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and problem solve with a team mindset. 

The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation in order to exceed our members expectations at every opportunity.

Essential Functions

1. Provide top-notch customer service and member experience.
2. Effectively transport food from Kitchen to pool side delivery area.
3. Keep all snacks and drink fridges stocked.
4. Maintain working knowledge of restaurant menu.
5. Assist in preparation of food when necessary.
6. Assist in taking orders from members and guests when necessary.
7. Adhere to proper sanitary guidelines.
8. Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area per established standards.
9. Work special events as necessary throughout the year.
10. Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
11. Attend to customers upon entrance.
12. Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff in exceeding member expectations at all times.
13. Deal with complaints or problems with a positive team attitude.
14. Promote loyalty with our members.
15. Uphold our principle to “improve the day.”

Requirements

Qualifications

1. Patience, tact, and clear communication skills.
2. Passion for expanding knowledge about food preparation and restaurant services
3. Strong time management and multitasking skills.
4. Strong communication and listening skills.
5. Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
6. A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all other staff.
