Remote Senior Counsel

• Represents insured individuals and the company in various legal defenses.
• Prepares for and conducts hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
• Drafts and presents pre- and post-trial motions.
• Collaborates with colleagues to resolve calendar conflicts.
• Counsels business clients on daily legal matters.
• Manages projects, ensuring coordination among legal teams.
• Stays updated on new laws and regulations, providing proactive advice.

• Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 3+ years of proven litigation experience or strong litigation skills.
• Preferred first or second chair jury trial experience.
• Experience in insurance defense is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LexisNexis, and legal research.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with legal staff.
• Ability to manage a substantial caseload in a remote setting.
