Civil Grader Operator

We are looking for an experienced Civil Grader Operator to join our Construction Division based out of Hamilton.

You will be part of a team performing a wide range of construction activities including:

• Operate a Grader to shape, level, maintain roads, shoulders, drainage ditches and finishing road surfaces

• Perform routine road maintenance, including repairing potholes and controlling erosion

• Area wide pavement treatments and overlays including final trim

• Subdivision pavement work

• Ensuring high quality infrastructure projects are delivered to plan using your expert operator skills

To be successful in this role, you will:

• NZ resident or NZ citizen

• Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience operating graders in the civil and road construction industry

• Able to work independently & have an eye for detail

• Class 2 full licence & WTR’s endorsements

• Previous experience with GPS / Total station enabled equipment would be advantageous

• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and achieve strict deadlines

• Proven experience in supervising and leading a crews

• Ability to communicate clear expectations to your team and suppliers
