About The Department 

Job Responsibilities:
You will work with project team members, including external vendors, to deliver IT solutions to bank’s end-user. The solution scope involves QlikSense Application setup, design and development to enhance the bank’s operation readiness and financial prowess. Be forward looking and agile to adapt to changing bank’s needs and dynamic working environment. You will work closely with IT and Business stakeholders to understand business needs and work collaboratively to deliver solutions.

Key activities may include, but are not limited to:

• Provision of User Groups and Data Connections
• Analyse and assess delinquent Applications; provide suggestions to fix, optimize and resolve issues.
• Identify customer needs and work collaboratively to determine business requirements
• Interact with Principal Lead, Business Analyst and Business users to understand functional requirements.
• Design and configure the Applications as per business requirements.
• Adhere to code standards, leverage reusable code components
• Develop KPI’s to provide custom functionality to Dashboard as per business needs.
• Sound knowledge of QlikSense Architecture, experience in managing medium-large scale QlikSense Infra.
• Qlik software administration; including software configuration, updates, patches, and hotfixes and license renewals.
• Experience in solving user issues related to Qlik application server performance, configuration and integration with surrounding applications like DataMarts (DB2/Hive/Teradata/PostgreSQL)
• Good in the QlikSense Development, Nprinting development and GeoAnalytics maps
• Train end users effectively to use the reporting tool, to build and customize their Adhoc reports and provide support to inquiries
• Work in tandem with Visualization Expert, BI Architect and Business team
• Undertake responsibility for designing the solution focusing development of reusable components
• Ensure incorporation of best practices and lessons learnt from prior projects
• Work on delivering Change Request and Project implementation
• Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions
• Presenting information through reports and visualization
• Part of your responsibilities is handling and maintaining the existing application, to ensure their stability, reliability and performance in SIT and UAT environment
• Liaise with the end-user and technical solution team to implement solutions that align with the organization's business objectives.
• Study the current customer data architectures; data models, data integration, data architecture
• Work with cross-functional teams within the bank for application solution and integration.
• Provide consultation on performance enhancements and Provide COE Services to the customer
• Critical examination of requirements and understanding operations and systems.
• Create and modify procedures to solve problems considering technical capacity and limitations.
• Ability to provide technical support to all team members during project execution
• Manage the technical delivery within timeline and with quality.
• Manage change request and defect with release control.
• Manage project issues, user and vendor expectations.
• Ensure end-user satisfaction and meeting service level agreement.

Key Requirements:

• Mandatory Technical skills: Development and administration of Enterprise QlikSense, Nprinting , GeoAnalytics
• Integration of Qlik with Databases (Hive/Teradata/DB2/PostgreSQL)
• DOS/Shell scripting/Java Scripting/PowerShell Scripting
• Experience in enterprise schedulers like Control-M, Tivoli, Autosys
• Other skills for Data warehouse, BI, and Big Data (Hadoop, Teradata) skills are good advantages
• 6+ years of experience in implementing Qlik administration and development  
• Experienced with in a server-based environment and possess good knowledge of configuring/administering QlikView Server, Qlik Sense Server, NPrinting Server.
• Experience in securing BI platforms to prevent data leakage.
• Driving the adoption of standards and governance to ensure the BI platforms (like Qlik) remains stable, reliable, and secure for all users.
• Design Architect and Optimize complex Data models using sophisticated modelling techniques in QlikSense.
• Responsible for gathering requirements from business users analyse them identify problems and provide technical solutions Document suggested technical solutions
• Develop, design and test BI Reports and Dashboards based on user requirements.
• Work with the customer to gather specifications for data and report requirements.
• Effectively translate end user reporting requirements into functional design documents.
• Development of operational reports and dashboards with focus on business data insights.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal & communication skill
• Asset management domain knowledge.
• A developer must always keep in mind and imply some best practices while working such as data model designing principles, interface designing rules and coding standards.
• Must good understanding of the business data rules is crucial to performing correct operations on data such as calculating KPIs and measures and making an application logically.
• Involve in UAT, user training, pre-implementation preparation and post-implementation support activities
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience in taking lead to implement BI applications.
• Fast Learner, enjoy analytical and data modelling work and proactive in providing solutions
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with attention to details
