Welders are responsible for actively participating in training programs to advance proficiency, carefully reading blueprints to produce parts to specification, and setting up welding equipment for various products. Duties also include laying out, positioning, aligning, and fitting metal components, operating grinders for finishing, and performing basic machine maintenance.

Description
DeWys is currently seeking motivated Welders to join our team with the drive to expand their MIG, TIG, & Robotic Welding skills.
*Shift premium for 2nd & Weekend shift!*
Welder Duties:
- Actively participate in the DeWys University training program advancing to level 3 proficiency
- Follow DeWys Standard Work
- Carefully read manufacturing blueprints to produce products and parts to spec
- Set up welding equipment for MIG welding on a variety of products and parts
- Lay out, position, align, and fit metal components to weld per customer specifications
- Read customer work instructions
- Operate Grinders- Finish grinding and spot grinding of parts
- Perform maintenance on welding and grinding machines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous welding experience/training, Certified Welding Technician is a plus!
- Good working knowledge of metals, welding robots, and welding & grinding equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Willing to work overtime as necessary
- Willing to learn fabrication methods outside of welding, as the business needs
