Your Role

As a Fixture Lead In Training, you will be training on, but not limited to, leading a team of Installers, problem resolution, proper assembly and installation of store fixtures/signage, material management, blueprint interpretation, client communication, safety enforcement, tool/equipment usage and project documentation. Our Lead Installer is at the forefront of our store remodel project, ensuring that every installation is executed with precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Read schematics and retail blueprints to manage team of Installers to complete building requirements.
• Extensive profiling of bays and sections, including shelving and accessories
• Assemble specialty merchandising units, stands, shelving and displays.
• Able to work either days or overnight shifts depending on project requirements.
• Lead, train and develop Fixture Install team.
• Maintain storage organization of fixtures and store material.
• Maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and store personnel.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow all company safety policies
• Work with a sense of urgency while having attention to detail.
• Responsible for completing general paperwork, use of mobile apps and sending/receiving emails.
• Millwork/Display/Shelving Assembly and Demo
• Signage installation
• Practical knowledge and use of tape measure, hand saw and other power tools and able to cut a straight line.
• Assemble components like fitting rooms, floating desks and shelving, and level/install owner supplied FF&E millwork.
• Safely operate forklift, scissor lift and pallet jacks (company certification provided).

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (state to state commute)
• Ability to travel extensively for projects nationwide
• Able to drive up to 750 Miles at a time, in personal vehicle. (mileage reimbursements/travel pay and bonus provided)
• At least 2yrs experience in a project-based leadership role and 1 year experience in retail new store/remodel environment
• Communicates effectively to the client and team
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Must have your own tools for personal use
• Must be physically able to stand for long periods, kneel, bend, reach and lift/carry up to 60lbs
• Capable and willing to present a professional image of Merchco Services to our clients and retail personnel
• Personal banking account for direct deposit and proof of valid vehicle insurance
• Device with internet for email and app-based programs
• Willing to share rooms when the project requires double occupancy
