The role
Reporting to the Head of Group Distribution, the Corporate Business Development Manager plays a critical role within the wider Group Insurance team.
Acting as the lead relationship contact, this role is responsible for identifying, evaluating and driving new group growth opportunities as well as seeking opportunities for institutional support for our retirement income solutions.
Working collaboratively across the Group Partnerships team, you will also support opportunities to grow default mandates from existing incumbent group clients and schemes, ensuring opportunities are coordinated with the existing partnership team and executed efficiently, seamlessly and to a high standard.
The role will focus heavily on the corporate group segment, where corporate mandates represent an important growth opportunity that reinforces our institutional credibility.
About you
You are an experienced Business Development Manager with 5+ years’ experience gained within an insurer, fund administrator or wealth management environment, partnering with corporate and institutional clients.
You bring strong product knowledge across life insurance offerings, including retirement income solutions, and understand how to position these effectively to meet client needs, including demonstrating a strong capability in upselling and cross-selling to drive business growth.
Lastly, you are a confident communicator and comfortable presenting to executives and senior stakeholders.
