About the Role:
The Kitchen role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of food preparation and service within a culinary environment. This position focuses on maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene while supporting the kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The individual will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to established recipes, and assisting with inventory management to minimize waste. Collaboration with chefs, servers, and management is key to maintaining a well-organized and productive kitchen. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and consistent food delivery in a clean and safe environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or food service environment.
- Certification in food safety or ServSafe.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
