ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• - Understands the essential duties and responsibilities of the process areas (batching, filling, packaging, and packaging driving). 

• - Designated break, lunch relief, and fill in for team members who are absent for the process and packaging area. 

• - Understands the Critical Control Points, routine, daily checks, and the documentation required in all production areas. 

• - Adheres to and understands Safety programs. 

• - Understands and uses current Good Manufacturing Practices to perform work.  

• - Understands and uses the Standard Operating Procedures for the area.  

• - Train and mentor new employees, as required. 

• - Other duties as assigned.

• - High School Diploma/GED and two years related work experience 

• - Forklift Experience 

• - Must be able to become certified and maintain certification through an OSHA approved forklift certification 

• - Knowledge of raw materials, production process 

• - Knowledge of arithmetic and their applications 

• - Knowledge of computers and electronics  

• - Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule/specification 

• - Ability to communicate effectively with others orally or in writing 

• - Attention to detail 

• - Ability to read and understand information 

• - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly  

• - Basic mathematical and reasoning skills 

• - Basic mechanical skills and trouble shooting skills 

• - Ability to concentrate in a fast-paced environment 

• - Required to learn each departmental area; batching, filling, packaging, and palletizing 

• - PPE requirements are area driven; safety shoes, glasses, specific hearing equipment 

• - Area Documentation as it relates to the area/position

- The ability to perform repetitious work 

• - The ability to lift up to 75 lbs. 

• - Ability to stand for entire shift 

• - Squatting, pushing/pulling, and twisting up to 50% of shift 

• - Grasping, reaching, and turning up to 80% of shift 

• - Standing up to 80% of shift  

• - Sitting/driving up to 20% of shift 

• - Occasional climbing
