About the Role

Description

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations and should be well educated in anatomy, patient positioning, proper examination techniques, equipment protocol, radiation safety & protection, and excellent patient care.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily calibration and warm-up of imaging equipment
  • Operate and perform imaging exams
  • Interview patient prior to examination to obtain pertinent background and history relating to imaging procedures
  • Collect prior patient scans or images from outside facilities before scheduled exam
  • Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required


Requirements

Requirements

  • AART(CT) Certified
  • Must have current BLS certification 
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time
  • Compliance with OSHA & HIPAA policies

Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent computer skills 
  • Exceptional written, verbal, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with other team members across all departments
  • IV skills are preferred
