Job Title: Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst
Location: Shanghai, China
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst to support finance operations in Shanghai. The role is responsible for end-to-end AP processing, vendor management, compliance with local statutory requirements, and supporting tax and regulatory submissions. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Operations
Process invoice bookings for PO, non-PO, and employee reimbursements in a timely and accurate manner
Review and approve invoice bookings in NetSuite (NS)
Perform invoice scanning and ensure accurate input tax verification
Execute weekly payment runs and generate payment advice
Upload weekly payment advice to banking portals and ensure successful payment processing
Conduct vendor verification and maintain accurate vendor master data
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Maintain annual records of miscellaneous vouchers (Fin-Misc vouchers)
Support preparation of monthly statutory reports, including balance sheet and income statement
Tax & Regulatory Support
Support Tax-BPO subsidy processes:
Prepare required documentation for submission to the Shanghai Commission of Commerce (COC)
Submit annual documentation to COC in compliance with local requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–5 years of relevant Accounts Payable or finance experience
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
Familiarity with PRC accounting standards and local statutory requirements
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Skills & Competencies
Solid understanding of AP processes and internal controls
Good communication skills (Mandarin required; English preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
High level of integrity and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling tax-related documentation or government submissions in China
Prior experience in a multinational company environment
