Description
· Communicate with Building Supervisor or Production Group Leader to understand operational requirements and KPIs.
· Provide support to personnel to accomplish daily tasks in the department.
· Monitor department production schedule and assist employees with prioritizing order builds.
· Identify potential production barriers and resolve issues as they arise.
· Direct personnel towards maximum performance with a goal of efficient and productive manufacturing processes that meets ACI’s quality standards and customer requirements.
· Coach employees to enhance their personal performance by setting focused targets and expectations.
· Use employee conversations and corrective action to improve performance, as needed.
· Identify training needs/deficiencies and formulate plans to improve them.
· Drive department Quality standards to exceed ACI and customer requirements.
· Assist in communicating employee enrichment initiatives to employees.
· Empower staff to present Continuous Improvement ideas and solutions.
· Provide proper reward and recognition to individuals/teams.
· Assist in enforcing ACI Company Policies and health and safety programs and rules.
· Manage personal time and priorities to complete several tasks at once without frequent direction.

Requirements
Physical Aspects of the Job
· Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
· Some lifting required (up to 60 lbs.).
Skills
· Knowledge, experience, and training in assembly procedures for product lines within a department.
· Excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to change
· Strong ability to multitask and meet project deadlines.
· Strong leadership and team building skills.
· Ability to make sound, logical decisions.
· Train, assist, manage, evaluate, and direct employees.
· Communicate effectively both written and verbal.
· Strong computer (Microsoft Office) and typing skills.
Education/Experience
· Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Operations Management or a production related field preferred, but not required.
· 1-2 years of production work related experience required.
