Job Type: Full time

Salary: $19.00 to $25.00/hr

Shift: 6 am until 3:30 pm

Dispatcher Job Description:

Dispatchers coordinate communication and logistics between drivers, production, customers, vendors, and Emergency personnel if needed to ensure timely, efficient and safe operations for our Logistics team.

• Managing truck drivers’ schedules and routes
• Scheduling freight to be picked up and delivered in a safe and timely manner
• Providing shipping details to customers
• Reviewing logs of truck drivers
• Documenting all calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries
• Completing paperwork related to shipments, such as invoices and BOL’s
• Handling customer complaints and inquiries
• Negotiating delivery timelines while staying within Hours-of-Service Regulations
• Work with the Maintenance shops to ensure trucks and trailers are maintained and are readily available for the trucking department’s needs.
• Helping with inbound and outbound deliveries and freight pickup as needed.
• Processing previous days routes in PCS to ensure proper billing and drivers payroll tracking.
• Inventory control and storage to ensure we have empty trailers when needed.
• Work with the production team, Lead dispatcher, and Transportation Supervisor to help relay and communicate in bound raw material crucial to production.

Requirements

 Dispatcher Requirements:

• Experience with Excel, Word Doc, PCS, and Fleet logistics software is a plus.
• Strong communication skills are needed.
• Organizational and multitasking
