Irrigation Technician are the frontline in delivering an exceptional client experience through:
- Service, install, and troubleshoot irrigation systems
- Maintenance of irrigation systems
- Operate irrigation systems, clocks, equipment, and installation equipment
- Work alongside, delegate, and distribute work according to job site size, time, and available resources
- Assist with overseeing time tracking
- Responsible for final inspection of job sites
- Winter irrigation operations and winter snow removal services
- Communicate with operations manager regarding job site and service issues
- Snow removal services in the winter
- Ensuring work is conducted safely for the employees, the clients, the public and our environment
- Safely operating tools and equipment
- Equipment care and general maintenance
Requirements
- Valid Driver's license with acceptable driving record and DOT medical card
- At least 2 years of experience working as Irrigation Technician
- Able to safely operate commercial vehicles/ trucks with trailers & equipment
- Trainable, coachable, and able to grasp new concepts quickly
- Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Able to be on call 24/7 during winter season months
- Able to handle the physical demands of the position
- Be punctual and reliable
- Accountability to themselves and to their team
- Ownership of Job
