JOB SUMMARY

Join our team as a Take Out specialist! This is an exciting opportunity to provide prompt, friendly, and professional assistance to our valued customers in person and over the phone. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for operating cash drawers, using the POS system, and ensuring that all orders are accurately prepared and sold. The Retail position offers a variety of engaging roles focused on selling to-go orders.

Serving or Cashiering experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Adhere to all safety, sanitation, policy, and alcohol beverage control policies.
2. Greet guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner on the phone or in person.
3. Extensive knowledge of the food, drink, and specials menus.
4. Accurately take, ring in, compile, and deliver orders to the customers’ specifications.
5. Able to use the POS systems with efficiency.
6. Ensure guest satisfaction with products and services.
7. Conduct all monetary transactions with attention to detail.
8. Handle, store, date, and rotate all products properly.
9. Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a manager.
10. Communicate clearly and professionally with all persons in the restaurant.
11. Complete all opening, closing, and side duties.
12. Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect.

Requirements

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older with a current TAPS Card and Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card. Previous serving or bartending experience is preferred but not required.

1. Stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
2. Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
3. Lift and carry 30+ lbs
4. Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
5. Bend, reach, stoop, and move quickly
6. Work in close proximity to coworkers in a fast-paced environment
7. Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
8. Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverage terminology
