About the Role:

As a Mid-Level Solutions Architect within the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services industry, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and innovative technology solutions that meet client business needs. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and project managers, to translate complex requirements into clear architectural designs. Your expertise will guide the selection of appropriate technologies and frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. You will also be responsible for evaluating existing systems and recommending improvements to enhance performance, security, and maintainability. Ultimately, your work will drive successful project delivery and contribute to the long-term technological advancement of the organization and its clients across the United States.

About the Role

The Solution Architect is a mid-level technical leader responsible for designing and delivering scalable, mission-aligned solutions for Exigo’s government and national security customers. This role bridges customer requirements, business objectives, and technical implementation by developing architectures that are innovative, practical, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Working closely with program managers, engineers, and customer stakeholders, the Solution Architect translates complex needs into actionable system designs and ensures successful delivery across the full lifecycle—from concept through deployment.

General Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day) 
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents
  • Occasional standing, walking, and reaching within office environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10-10lbs 
  • Visual acuity for:
    • Reading screens and printed materials
    • Working with detailed technical diagrams
  • Hearing and Speech
    • Ability to communicate clearly in person and via phone/video
    • Participate in classified discussions in secure areas
  • Mobility
    • Ability to move within a secure facility including badge controlled areas
    • Occasional travel between buildings or to secure labs 

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop end-to-end technical solutions aligning with customer mission needs and Exigo capabilities

- Translate customer requirements into scalable architectures

- Collaborate with engineering teams to guide implementation

- Serve as a technical interface with customers

- Evaluate emerging technologies

- Ensure compliance with security and performance requirements

- Develop architecture artifacts and documentation

- Identify risks and mitigation strategies

- Promote best practices in Systems Engineering

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

- 5–8 years of relevant experience

- Experience with complex system design within the DoD/DoW or space programs

- Strong understanding of architecture principles

- MBSE or architecture frameworks experience

- SparxEA or Cameo software tool experience

- Strong documentation and communication skills

- Attention to detail is critical

- Currently cleared DoD Secret, but must be TS/SCI + SAP Eligible

Preferred Qualifications

- OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Language™ (SysML®) Professional (OCSMP) Level I or II

- INCOSE ASEP (Associate Systems Engineering Professional)
 or working toward CSEP (Certified Systems Engineering Professional)

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure

- Relevant MBSE certifications

- Cameo expert

- Current TS/SCI + SAP
