Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures to ensure comfort and readiness
- Assist dentists and dental hygienists during various dental procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral health and post-treatment care
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment
Pay & Schedule
- Competitive starting wages based on experience and qualifications
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
In addition to competitive pay, full-time employees accrue up to 200 hours (5 weeks) of PTO per year. Employees also enjoy employer retirement match contributions and early Friday clinic closures, supporting a strong work-life balance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
- Proficiency in taking and processing dental X-rays
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to follow infection control protocols meticulously
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
