Your Role

As Director of Sales, you will be the driving force behind hotel revenue growth. You’ll oversee sales operations, set innovative strategies, and build strong relationships with clients and the community—all while ensuring alignment with property goals and ownership expectations. Your leadership will maximize REVPAR, occupancy, and overall revenue across all segments. This role is ideal for someone who leads with Grit, collaborates Stronger Together, and communicates with Social Intelligence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead strategic efforts to secure new and repeat business through outside sales calls, site tours, relationship building, and creative outreach
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to shape impactful sales strategies
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, community events, and industry gatherings to maintain a visible and active presence
  • Build proposals, finalize bookings and contracts, and guide clients through a seamless sales process
  • Participate in revenue management calls, budget planning, forecasting, and hotel strategy sessions
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership to deliver exceptional guest service and exceed client expectations
  • Train front desk and team members on the sales process to foster a culture of service and upselling
  • Track and follow up on all group business to ensure materialization and satisfaction
  • Implement promotional programs and partnerships that drive revenue growth across all segments
  • Maintain a professional image and uphold Resolute Road Hospitality’s high standards in every interaction
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, sales process, and market dynamics
  • Proven ability to analyze data, forecast revenue, and develop actionable business plans
  • Exceptional relationship building, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with brand sales systems (preferred)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive, creative mindset to pursue and close business opportunities

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of sales experience, with 2-4 years in hospitality
