About General Beverages Sales Co. and General Beer Distributors (GB)

General Beverage Sales Co. (GB) is a business-to-business wholesale distributor of wine, distilled spirits, beer, soda, bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages. Established in 1933, GB has been family-owned ever since. We currently operate in all of Wisconsin’s 72 counties as consultants to over 11,000 licensed retail business customers helping them to profitably select, promote, merchandise, and sell consumer products in the beverage category. General Beer Northeast, a leading beer distributor is seeking a professional Sales Administrator. 

This position is responsible for maintaining customer relations, preparing sales orders, and processing key information needed to meet the accountability of the sales processes.  The position is Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm at the GBNE location in Kaukauna, WI.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  

· Help the branch build its sales, including the new business component by helping to maintain house accounts through active Dealer and Customer communication of new product launches, services, supplies, and prices.

 

· Provide excellent customer service via walk-ins, phone calls and e-mails, includes product/order information, sales, warranties, shipping, and returns. Notify customers about available services, supplies, prices, and new products.  


· Maintain records and prepare reports for General Managers and Sales Managers.  


· Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs.  


· Collaborate with the General Manager to determine the best methods to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to the organization’s policies.  


· Coordinate problem resolution with appropriate departments  


· Coordinate with all Sales Teams to set up new items for General Beer accounts.  


· Complete daily and monthly reports for successful processing of General Beer accounts.

· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  

· Associate degree or bachelor degree (Preferred)  

· Proficiency in using a computer.  

· General Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as working knowledge of database applications.  

· Effective and high-quality Customer Service/Relationship skills via walk-ins, phone, & email; develop rapport and establish positive relationships.  

· Effective verbal and written communication skills and listening skills – must be able to explain information clearly, effectively, and in a timely manner.  

· Effective organizational skills and time management skills including ability to prioritize and multi-task.

· Ability to accept responsibility and account for their actions.  

· The ability to function independently, take initiative, demonstrate a creative approach as situations require and maintain confidentiality. 

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.

· Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
