About the Role

Company Description

At KMS Technology Mexico, we are passionate about building innovative software solutions that drive impact. As part of an international tech company, we offer a collaborative and inclusive environment where your ideas matter and your growth is our priority.

Job Description

As the Solutions Architect, you will serve as the "North Star" owner and final design authority for the platform modernization project. Your primary mission is to transform a legacy Java/Tomcat environment into a scalable, "AI-ready" architecture that integrates seamlessly with the broader Command Center ecosystem. You will provide the technical vision required to move from current state ambiguity to a decision-grade blueprint, ensuring the platform is ready for the strategic exit. You will lead the "Synchronous-First" leadership team, providing real-time collaboration and architectural alignment with the client’s C-level and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Architectural Design & Vision: Define the ready target architecture, focusing on containerization pathways, API-first integration, and RAG-ready knowledge layers.

  • Project Gating & Authority: Act as the final design authority for all major infrastructure changes and architectural pivots.

  • Ecosystem Integration: Ensure the modernized ToolBuilder operates as a dependable component within the Command Center, Engagement, and Intelligence platforms.

  • AI Readiness & Strategy: Lead the strategy for the Analysis Auto-Builder Agent, defining retrieval targets and metadata strategies to enable RAG-style workflows.

  • Compliance & Security: Map SOC 2 compliance requirements and other security controls to technical implementations.

  • Consulting Leadership: Facilitate high-intensity Analysis Workshops to produce tangible outputs like capability maps, decision logs, and risk registers.

  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve strategic tensions regarding "build vs. integrate" decisions and AI scope discipline.

Technical Quality: Oversee the implementation of the modernization "thin slice" to validate target patterns and reduce operational risk.

Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience: Proven track record (10+ years) in enterprise-grade software development and modernization of legacy Java/Tomcat/AWS stacks.

  • Modern Tech Stack Proficiency: Deep expertise in React SPA, containerization (Docker/K8s), and CI/CD standardization.

  • AI & Data Expertise: Strong understanding of Agentic Orchestration, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) frameworks, and vector search indexing.

  • Consulting Prowess: Ability to produce consulting-grade artifacts, including target-state blueprints, architecture maps, and integrated roadmaps.

  • Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical business leaders.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, and GDPR-aligned security standards.

  • Leadership Style: Experience working in a "Nearshore" model, managing distributed teams across time zones while maintaining synchronous alignment.
