JOB SUMMARY:

At Caesars Republic Scottsdale, a Hilton Hotel, we know that behind every exceptional guest experience is a strong and efficient back-of-house operation. As an Accounting Clerk, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our hotel. You’ll handle day-to-day accounting tasks with precision, ensuring our financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and financial records to maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Handle daily cash deposits, manage petty cash, and ensure all transactions are documented properly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
