We are seeking a Dining aide for our long term care facility.
Schedule includes weekday(s) and every other week-end and alternate holiday rotation.
Part-Time Position Hours: Afternoon 4:00pm to 8:00pm shift

About our community
Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services.
Responsibilities
- Perform job duties per the scheduled job assignment to include; meal preparation, serving, dish washing, putting stock away, and clean up following all kitchen guidelines.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of Dining Services Department, i.e., kitchen, dining room, and storage areas.
- Understand the resident’s diets (for NH and ADP) and correct procedure of serving all meals. Assist residents/tenants as needed during the dining hour.
- Observe and report resident’s intake at mealtime as required while demonstrating sensitivity to residents’ needs and maintaining a kind and respectful manner.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and documentation. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency, accuracy and competency in assistance with medication administration on a consistent basis.
- Ability to work independently and dependably to efficiently deliver care to meet residents needs.
- Ability to work with residents from diverse backgrounds.
