Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for maintaining our facility and equipment, ensuring everything operates safely and efficiently. Your work will be essential to sustaining a successful maintenance program and supporting our overall operations.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules and supervisor instructions according to company policies.

• Perform routine repairs and general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and plastering.

• Replace lighting and perform maintenance in high areas safely.

• Respond to unscheduled maintenance needs and emergencies.

• Service and replace heating and cooling systems in compliance with guidelines.

• Replenish maintenance supplies and follow preventive maintenance routines.

• Identify and report malfunctions, hazards, and defective equipment promptly.

• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols during all tasks.

• Participate in ongoing training and educational sessions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• HVAC Certification is mandatory.

• Possession of, or ability to obtain, EPA 2, 3, or Universal Certification.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance team environment.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with air conditioning systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing high-pressure refrigeration units.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics related to plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.

• Flexible team player capable of supporting other team tasks (e.g., drywall repair, cabinet installation, appliance servicing).

Pay Rate: The starting pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour, with compensation varying based on experience and qualifications.
