Housekeeper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Christian Care – Cottonwood Campus, a senior living community. In this essential role, you will help ensure our senior residents enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in resident apartments and common areas while upholding the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and professionalism.

This is a PRN position, working one day, approximately 4 hours per week, offering flexible hours based on the needs of the residents and your availability.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments, common areas, and restrooms following established procedures
• Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment, including vacuums and floor care tools
• Assist with light building cleaning, laundry duties, and trash removal
• Maintain clean and orderly outside entryways
• Follow daily task lists and report maintenance issues as needed
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
• Communicate courteously with residents, staff, and visitors 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous housekeeping experience in a facility setting preferred
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Able to read and understand written instructions and policies in English
• Must pass a drug screening and have a current TB test (or obtain one prior to hire)
• Must be willing to complete additional training as offered
