The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Hardware Manufacturing Associate to join our first-in-class manufacturing team. Reporting to the Hardware Manufacturing Manager, this role is responsible for building, testing, and troubleshooting Biolog’s laboratory instrumentation products.

Requirements

Where You Make a Difference

· Build, assemble, and test laboratory instrumentation products following established procedures

· Construct sub-assemblies and components across mechanical, electrical, and optical systems

· Inspect assemblies for defects, report issues, and perform rework as needed

· Troubleshoot and resolve assembly and system-level issues

· Conduct failure analysis, teardown, repair, and reassembly of electromechanical systems

· Communicate process and assembly challenges to Leads and Supervisors (verbally and in writing)

· Support continuous improvement efforts within manufacturing operations

What You Bring

· Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

· Hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly of lab instrumentation (preferred)

· Strong mechanical, electrical, and/or system-level troubleshooting skills

· Experience with hand tools, measuring instruments, soldering, wiring, and optical alignment

· Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly/test documentation

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Effective communication skills in a team-based environment

Hourly: $36.00-$38.50/hour

Note: This is an on-site position in our Morgan Hill Office.
