Your team and your responsibilities
Team/division description
Our department is responsible for the development of automotive parts from concept through to mass production. This involves supporting new Style feasibility studies through to introduction of the new parts to our production facilities around Europe. We also research & utilise latest technologies to improve product power & cost competitiveness.
Your project
You will support the development of digital tools and processes that are directly used by engineers in ongoing vehicle development projects, with a focus on improving efficiency, traceability, and decision-making.
Typical activities may include:
- Mapping engineering and production workflows to identify improvement opportunities
- Developing digital tools (e.g. Power Apps, automation scripts, dashboards)
- Supporting data-driven analysis of engineering processes
- Exploring and applying new technologies (automation, AI tools, etc.) to real use cases
- Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to translate needs into practical solutions
Your Profile
- You are currently enrolled in a Master’s programme and available for a full-time, 6-month internship starting ideally June 1st (flexible).
- You are fluent in English (Toyota Motor Europe’s business language).
- You have strong digital/IT skills and enjoy working with tools such as Power Apps, Python, or similar technologies.
- You have an interest in the automotive sector and how vehicles and components are designed and manufactured.
- You are motivated by digitalisation and improving engineering workflows.
- You are curious about emerging technologies (automation, data tools, AI) and eager to apply them in practice.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and enjoy structuring and improving processes.
- You are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and translating business needs into practical solutions.

- 1st of June 2026 (flexible)

- 6 months fulltime

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.
It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
