Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services (CFCS) is a Church-owned nonprofit organization founded in faith and dedicated to providing education, outreach and professional funeral, cremation and cemetery services while following the teachings of the Church. CFCS staff works in numerous dioceses around the country, supporting over 30 active cemeteries that conduct over 10,000 burial services annually. We also serve around 10 funeral centers that provide over 2,500 funeral and cremation services year after year. CFCS’ goal is to create a healthy and sustainable environment and reinvigorate the vital Catholic funeral and cemetery ministry in dioceses that are being challenged to sustain their operations.

About the Role

Sales Manager

Location: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery & Funeral Center - Hayward, CA

Are you seeking a meaningful leadership position serving families and the community? As our Sales Manager, you should exhibit the values of the Catholic faith and serve as a role model to the staff. You will be accountable for managing the day-to-day operations of a Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services (CFCS) location.

Are you a leader with a coaching mindset who enjoys developing salespeople responsible for prospecting and generating new business? You will lead the sales team and motivate them to broaden community impact by educating on our pre-need ministry. As the Sales Manager, you will ensure staff serves families in a compassionate, respectful, and professional manner.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000: DOE

Qualifications

4-5 years managing a prospecting-focused sales team to meet targets & expand client base
Team development experience on outbound prospecting and client acquisition
Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
Experience coaching direct reports and motivating teams to achieve results
Knowledge of Catholic rituals and traditions
Ability to prepare, forecast, and analyze budgets/financial reports
Capability of overseeing multiple functional areas
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal skills
Proficient in the use of computers, software, and technology
