About the Role

Job Description

​WHAT YOU’LL DO​ 
As a Senior Data Analyst specializing in Business Intelligence, you will help strengthen BI capabilities across H&M’s Analytics Center of Excellence. You will support the evolution of Power BI and Fabric practices while enabling teams across the organization to work more effectively with modern BI development approaches. Your work will shape scalable ways of working that elevate BI maturity and support a federated analytics landscape. 

→ Support the development and rollout of Power BI governance, standards, and best practices across the organization. 
→ Drive BI upskilling by creating training materials, guidelines, handson learning sessions, and community forums. 
→ Analyze and interpret metadata such as usage patterns, refresh behavior, performance signals, and cost drivers to generate insights for the CoE. 
→ Partner with domain teams to apply recommended BI standards in real scenarios and improve ways of working. 
→ Contribute to complex or crossdomain reporting needs by providing handson development support when required. 

 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH​ 

You will be part of the Analytics Center of Excellence, working closely with our BI Lead and senior analysts who focus on building BI maturity across H&M. You’ll collaborate with analytics managers, domain analysts, and the wider BI community to shape standards and strengthen ways of working.

WHO YOU ARE​ 

We are looking for people with…​ 

  • ​Strong expertise in Power BI including data modeling, performance optimization, workspace management, and service level concepts. 

  • Solid SQL knowledge to support data exploration, validation, and more complex analytical scenarios. 

  • Experience guiding BI communities through best practices, coaching, documentation, or training activities. 

  • Ability to analyze platform metadata to identify patterns, derive insights, and summarize findings for stakeholders. 

  • Experience using Git based version control within BI or analytics development. 

  • Experience working with Power BI in combination with GCP​ is a bonus 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and how it supports BI workflows is beneficial

  • Strong communicators who can explain BI concepts to both technical and non technical audiences. 

  • Comfortable working in large scale or federated organizations. 

  • Interested in modern development approaches such as MCP or agentic workflows. 

Please note that we are not able to offer relocation for this role, so you will need to be based in Sweden.
