As the importance of strong data protection practices continue to grow across the financial industry, we are expanding our Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) capabilities to further strengthen the Bank’s security posture.Based in Zurich and operating within the Group CISO & Technology Risk Control function of the CRO division, we are looking for a DLP specialist who combines strong business knowledge with solid analytical skills and a keen sense for operational risks. In this role, you will play a central part in identifying and assessing potential data leakage incidents, ensuring that employees are guided effectively through remediation steps, and contributing to the continuous enhancement of our DLP controls and processes. Operating within an international environment, you will collaborate closely with DLP teams and stakeholders across multiple locations, helping to maintain a consistent and effective global DLP framework that safeguards both our clients and the organization.
YOUR CHALLENGE
DLP Incident Triage & Communication
Analyze, triage and classify DLP alerts to identify potential data leakage incidents. Engage directly with employees to explain incident context, guide remediation actions and promote secure data‑handling practices across the organization.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvements
Drive continuous improvement of DLP processes, playbooks and workflows. Leverage insights from incidents, stakeholder interactions and operational bottlenecks to streamline activities and strengthen the Bank’s data protection posture.
Data Analysis, Insights & Reporting
Analyze DLP event data to detect trends, patterns and anomalies that reveal emerging risks. Translate analytical insights into meaningful reports and contribute to KPI/KRI development for a broad set of stakeholders.
Policy Application & Control Enablement
Ensure consistent application of DLP rules, policies and control frameworks across business units and regions. Provide guidance on policy interpretation and support the refinement of rulesets to reduce false positives while maintaining strong protection.
Global Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Work closely with DLP functions and teams across the Bank’s international locations to ensure alignment of processes, controls and incident handling practices. Collaborate with stakeholders globally, contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives and support cross‑functional learning to reinforce secure data‑handling behaviours.
YOUR PROFILE
Strong understanding of banking business operations, including how client‑facing processes, internal workflows and data flows influence DLP risks and alerting patterns.
Solid analytical and data‑interpretation skills, with the ability to identify patterns, anomalies and underlying risk indicators in data. Experience with analytics or visualization tools is a strong advantage.
Hands‑on experience with security monitoring or incident management, preferably with Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) tools or other security detection technologies.
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, especially when explaining incidents to non‑technical stakeholders, guiding them through remediation steps and influencing secure behaviour.
Experience in information security, risk management, compliance, data protection or audit, ideally within the financial industry, with exposure to regulatory expectations around information security and/or data governance.
Structured, proactive and detail‑oriented working style, capable of handling operational workloads while contributing to process strengthening and continuous improvement.
Experience working in international environments, collaborating with globally distributed teams and adapting to differing business requirements and regulatory landscapes.
Relevant academic background in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field. Industry certifications are an asset.
Proficiency in German, French and/or Italian is a plus, enabling effective communication across the Bank’s key locations and supporting collaboration with stakeholders in multiple regions
