The Role

We are looking for an Applications, Data and AI Sales Expert to work in Kyndryl Spain, one of the largest IT services provider worldwide.

In this role, we look for sellers with a proved track record in selling complex IT services and solutions, particularly in the Applications, Data and AI space, using a consultative approach. The market has changed quickly in the last few years, as a result of different trends. The leading data platforms 5 years ago (Cloudera, Teradata, Oracle Exadata, etc) are quickly being migrated to Hyperscaler platforms, where data can benefit from hyperscaler advanced services, like AI and others. We look for sellers with experience and a deep understanding on the involved technologies in this sort of projects (both, source and destination), and the solution ecosystems around them (Hyperscalers, mainly AWS, GCP, Azure and OCI; solutions like Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse, etc).

SAP is also one of the pillars our organization is aiming. Experience in selling SAP-related projects are highly appreciated, especially move to RISE.

Finally, AI is a game-changer in this space, so experience and knowledge regarding AI solutions and platforms is strongly valued.

Our sales teams target the largest companies in Spain and Portugal. As such, your main responsabilities include the following:

- Generate and identify new opportunities around our Apps, Data and AI portfolio, such as application modernization and migration, data platform modernization and migration, data gobernance, GenAI, etc.

- Lead Sales opportunities end-to-end, since opportunity identification until opportunity closure, managing the engagement with customers, leading internal teams (Architecting, Delivery, Marketing, etc).

- Work and develop strong relationships with main partners (vendors, hyperscalers, OEM's, etc).

- Keep up-to-date on market trends, solutions and technologies, regulation, competition, use cases, etc.

- Build solid relationships with customers key stakeholders (CIO, CDO, CTO, business leaders, etc).

- Achieve or overachieve Signing sales targets, including Revenue generation and profitable growth.

- Support Delivery teams in order to facilitate project success.


Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience
- More than 5 years experience in technical sales and client engagement, in Apps, Data and AI solutions, involving the technologies specified in the Job Description.

- Degree on IT or Telecom. Masters or further specialization in AI, Data or other of our target technologies will be strongly valued.

- Certifications on the technologies under the scope of our portfolio are positively valued.

- Demonstrable ability to build and commercialize relationships with senior executives in large Spanish accounts.

- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Effective financial acumen with experience in driving revenue growth and managing margins.
- Sound personal brand and presence in the industry
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change
