About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager - QLD, this full-time, home-based role in Rockhampton / Mackay / Emerald focuses on driving revenue and business development within the mining sector. In addition, you will:

  • Drive specification development and conversion within the assigned territory, managing spend within the approved expense budget

  • Grow and develop mining market opportunities, strengthening Victaulic’s presence and pipeline

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, designers, specifiers, and buyers

  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers, including product selection, service, problem resolution, and value creation

  • Translate budget and revenue targets into actionable territory plans, activities, and priorities

  • Maximise territory performance through effective planning, scheduling, and coverage management

  • Support training and promotional activities for specifiers, distributors, and contractors

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, provide weekly territory reports, and prepare annual budgets and monthly sales forecasts

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven track record managing technical sales within the mining environments

  • Piping systems experience will be an advantage but is not mandatory

  • Demonstrated experience undertaking site visits and engaging with owners, engineers, and contractors

  • Strong understanding of mining project workflows, MRO budgets, and shutdown planning cycles

  • Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to challenges

  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills

  • Solution-oriented and high analytical and organizational skills.

  • A valid Australian Driver’s license and willing to travel as required.

  • Located either in Rockhampton, Emerald, or Mackay
