The Role

As Director of Rooms at Faena Wadi Safar, you will be the curator of the guest’s lived experience—shaping moments of arrival, rest, and return with intention, elegance, and emotional depth.

You will lead the Rooms world—Front Office, Guest Experience, Butler Services, Housekeeping, and Residences—ensuring that every encounter feels effortless, expressive, and deeply human. Rooted in Saudi culture and hospitality, you will bring Faena’s vision to life through presence, ritual, and care.

Craft an arrival-to-departure experience that feels ceremonial yet natural—where service anticipates rather than reacts, and every detail speaks softly of care, artistry, and belonging.

Pre-Opening as a Creative Act

  • Guide the pre-opening of the Rooms division with clarity and intention—bringing systems, spaces, teams, and rituals into alignment so opening day unfolds with confidence and grace.

A Living House of Hospitality

  • Shape guestrooms, residences, and public spaces as places of comfort and character—where Faena’s bold design language meets warmth, privacy, and impeccable stewardship.

Service as Ritual

  • Translate standards into rituals and procedures into moments—ensuring Butler-led service, housekeeping precision, and guest engagement feel expressive, personal, and memorable.

Teams with Presence

  • Recruit, inspire, and develop Rooms leaders and colleagues who lead with pride, empathy, and polish—championing Saudi talent and creating pathways for growth and mastery.

Performance with Grace

  • Balance artistry with accountability—driving guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and asset care while honoring the emotional cadence of ultra-luxury hospitality.

A Signature Guest Journey

  • Design and deliver a seamless, emotionally resonant Rooms experience that transforms stays into lasting memories.

  • Champion personalized service, intuitive anticipation, and Faena’s signature rituals across all guest touchpoints.

  • Ensure flawless coordination between Front Office, Housekeeping, Butler, and Guest Services.

Pre-Opening & Operational Readiness

  • Lead Rooms pre-opening planning, recruitment, training, and operational simulations.

  • Establish SOPs, service sequences, and quality assurance standards aligned with Faena’s ultra-luxury positioning.

  • Partner with IT, Engineering, and Housekeeping to ensure systems, rooms, and public areas are opening-ready.

Leadership & Culture

  • Recruit, inspire, and develop high-performing Rooms leaders and teams.

  • Foster a culture of pride, accountability, and genuine hospitality.

  • Support Saudization goals through mentoring, development, and succession planning.

Performance & Quality Management

  • Drive Rooms KPIs including guest satisfaction, cleanliness, service consistency, and operational efficiency.

  • Balance service excellence with cost control, labor productivity, and asset protection.

  • Personally oversee VIP arrivals, residents, and high-profile guests.

Collaboration & Community

  • Work closely with Revenue Management, Sales, Spa, and F&B to ensure a cohesive guest experience.

  • Act as a visible host and cultural ambassador within the hotel and the Diriyah community.

  • Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, safety standards, and brand requirements.

Qualifications

Who You Are

  • A Saudi National hospitality leader with senior Rooms experience in luxury or ultra-luxury environments.

  • Ideally experienced in pre-opening, with the ability to build structure without sacrificing soul.

  • A natural host who leads through presence, storytelling, and attention to detail.

  • Deeply attuned to Saudi culture, values, and expectations, with confidence navigating stakeholders and teams.

  • Commercially aware, quality-driven, and emotionally intelligent.

  • Fluent in Arabic and English, equally at ease with guests, colleagues, and owners.
