Job Purpose
The role is responsible for the planning, operation, maintenance, and risk management of site electrical power systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and continuous power supply to support manufacturing operations and overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical System Operation & Reliability
Operate and maintain critical electrical infrastructure including HV/EHV systems, substations, switchboards, UPS, and generators
Ensure electrical system availability meets manufacturing and facility requirements
Monitor system performance and drive continuous reliability improvement
2. Power Risk & Business Continuity Management
Identify single points of failure (SPOF) and electrical system risks
Develop and execute backup, emergency response, and recovery strategies
Support Business Continuity Management (BCM) and comply with ISO 22301 requirements
3. Project Execution & Capital Planning
Lead or support electrical expansion, replacement, and upgrade projects
Drive system reliability enhancement, energy efficiency initiatives, and long‑term CAPEX planning
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors during project execution
4. Incident Response & Issue Resolution
Lead or support electrical incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Coordinate with ERC, EHS, and cross‑functional teams to minimize downtime and business impact
Implement permanent corrective and preventive actions
5. Compliance, Audit & Governance
Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, EHS, fire codes, and corporate standards
Support internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections
Maintain proper documentation and operational procedures
6. Cross‑Functional & External Collaboration
Collaborate with Manufacturing, EHS, Engineering, IT, Utilities, and suppliers
Interface with utility companies (e.g., Taipower) and government agencies as required
Provide support to regional or Global FAC initiatives when assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Experience in semiconductor fabs or large‑scale facility electrical systems preferredSolid knowledge of high‑voltage distribution, UPS, generators, and protection systems
Strong risk awareness, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional communication skills
