Key duties include system operation, environmental risk management, driving energy efficiency initiatives, and leading or supporting system improvement projects.

Job Purpose
Responsible for planning, operation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC and cleanroom environmental control systems, ensuring stable temperature, humidity, air cleanliness, and energy efficiency to support manufacturing yield, equipment reliability, and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
HVAC & Cleanroom System Operation
Operate and maintain HVAC systems including chillers, AHU/MAU, cooling towers, VAV/FFU, and exhaust/make‑up air systems
Ensure stable temperature, humidity, pressure, and airflow meeting fab and process requirements
Maintain cleanroom environmental stability and system readiness
Environmental Stability & Risk Management
Identify environmental SPOF and HVAC system risks
Implement backup, abnormal response, and recovery strategies
Support Business Continuity / ISO 22301 requirements related to environmental control
Energy Efficiency & Sustainability
Drive energy optimization initiatives (chiller efficiency, airflow optimization, heat recovery)
Improve HVAC energy performance and operating cost
Support corporate energy saving and sustainability goals
Project Execution & System Improvement
Lead or support HVAC expansion, upgrade, and retrofit projects
Review design to ensure capacity, redundancy, and reliability
Drive performance improvement, control optimization, and CAPEX planning
Incident Response & Compliance
Lead or support environmental excursion investigation and RCA
Coordinate with Manufacturing, I&C, FAC, and EHS
Ensure compliance with EHS, cleanroom standards, and corporate guidelines
Support audits and regulatory inspections
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, EHS, Utilities, and contractors
Interface with equipment vendors and HVAC service providers
Support regional or Global FAC initiatives as required
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical / HVAC Engineering or related discipline
Experience with semiconductor fab, cleanroom, or large‑scale HVAC systems preferred
Knowledge of chillers, air handling, cleanroom airflow, and control systems
Strong problem‑solving, risk awareness, and cross‑functional communication skills
