Shift Availability for Residential Living Activity Assistant:

Hours vary depending on scheduled activities
Some weekend flexibility for resident outings
40 Hours per week consistently

Responsibilities of Residential Living Activity Assistant:

Assist with implementation of residential living activity programming.
Plan, Escort and Facilitate outings and activities
Administrative duties related to residential living services
Respond to resident requests and preferences; monitor attendance and involvement.
Assist with calendar creation and preparation.
Assist with implementation of structured activities including reserving space, collect supplies and arranging clean up and set up.
Coordinate small group activities or special interest groups.
Assist residents with technology tasks as requested.

Requirements

Qualifications:

College degree or activity related certification preferred
Desire to work with the senior population
Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety
Driving 15 passenger bus
Organization skills with attention to detail
