Description

Job Summary:

A Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations for the location they are assigned.


Responsibilities:

  • Daily scheduling and delegating of assignments to Supervisors and Road Crews.
  • Daily PPE compliance and complaint checks on work zones.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure needs are fulfilled and the location meets/exceeds US Traffic Standards.
  • Keep track of employee hours in assigned location to ensure work receipts are accurate.
  • Billing for everyone working at the assigned location.
  • Complete an accurate daily crew list, weekly observation reports, work receipts, gas and credit card receipts and submit them to the Regional Supervisor for approval in a timely manner.
  • Gather company vehicle keys at the end of every shift and ensure no employee uses the company vehicle after work ends.
  • Report equipment needs to Regional Manager and vehicle maintenance to Procurement and ensuring completion.
  • Recommend new Supervisors and train crew members to be ready for the next step.
  • Issue corrective actions and accurately report issues to the Regional Supervisor.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
  • Regular, reliable, on-site attendance

Requirements

You MUST -

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and Fit For Duty physical exam.
  • Have a valid driver's license and provide a driving record.
  • Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Be willing to travel. Housing provided when traveling.
  • Be willing to work overtime. Extended shifts are common with 5-6 day work weeks.
  • Have reliable communication to receive work schedule.
  • Provide your own steel-toe or composite work shoes to be worn during your work shift.

Experience:

  • FDOT Advanced MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) Certification required.
  • A professional certification in the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA).

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical strength and stamina.
  • Be able to work in all weather conditions and tolerate varying climates of heat, cold, and rain.
  • Be able to stand throughout your entire shift, hand and arm movement is required.
  • Manual dexterity to operate two-way radios and enter information into tablet PC.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
