The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key architect and contributor to our ContentStack API. This is the core engine of our business, managing complex flight booking and post-booking logic at scale. You aren't just writing code; you are ensuring the scalability of a high-throughput system while mentoring mid-level developers and influencing our long-term technical roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
● Architectural Ownership: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core.
● Scalability & Performance: Optimize the Content Stack API to handle increasing global traffic while maintaining low latency and high availability.
● Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a technical lead for small-to-mid-sized feature teams, conducting rigorous code reviews and fostering best practices.
● Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage services within cloud environments (GCP preferred) using Docker and Kubernetes.
● Full-Stack Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to deliver seamless end-to-end travel solutions.
● Quality Excellence: Drive a culture of "quality-first" by implementing automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and robust monitoring (Kibana/Grafana).
Technical Profile
The Essentials:
● Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
● C# Mastery: 4 to 6+ years of professional experience with the .NET ecosystem, specifically .NET Core.
● CS Fundamentals: Deep understanding of OOP, asynchronous programming, complex Data Structures, and Algorithmic optimization.
● API Design: Proven track record of building and consuming scalable RESTful services.
● Data Management: Strong proficiency in Relational Databases (PostgreSQL) and SQL optimization.
● Cloud & Version Control: Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure, and expert-level Git flow (GitHub/Bitbucket).
The "Value-Adds":
● Containerization: Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
● Frontend: Familiarity with React.js to assist in full-stack integration.
● Observability: Experience with ELK stack (Kibana), Grafana, and SonarQube.
● Domain Expertise: Prior experience in the Travel Tech, OTA, or Aviation industry.
● Automation: Experience building/maintaining Concourse or similar CI/CD pipelines.
