Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Blackline COE Team. As a Blackline System Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting our Global Process Owner (GPO) team and contributing to the success of our end-to-end process optimization efforts within the Record to Report (R2R) workstream.
The Blackline System Analyst will oversee the following activities:
Act as a Blackline Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance and support to end users.
Manage and process Blackline change requests, including user access management and master data changes.
Collaborate closely with the IT department to address and resolve any technical issues related to Blackline.
Deliver training and ongoing support to users, enabling them to effectively utilize all modules within Blackline.
Collaborate with team members to ensure system data accuracy
Support Blackline implementations and enhancements across all modules (reconciliation, journals, and task).
Ensure Blackline SOX IT compliance by diligently performing system controls aligned with Thermo Fisher standards.
Analyze and evaluate existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions to optimize the end-to-end process.
Work closely with RTR Global Process Owner, IT, PPI, and Automation teams to support process improvements and automation initiatives.
Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficient spoken and written English skills.
Proficiency with diverse ERPs (SAP, JDE, Oracle) and Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word) necessary.
Solid understanding of end-to-end R2R processes.
Proven experience as a BlackLine Administrator, with strong functional knowledge of key modules including Reconciliations, Tasks, and Journals, supporting configuration, maintenance, and end-user support.
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning new technologies, with a strong innovation mindset and continuous improvement focus.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with different customers at all levels.
