About the Role

[What the role is]

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

[What you will be working on]

•    Plan, design, and deliver professional development programmes that enhance the teaching effectiveness of academic staff, with a focus on the effective integration of Education Technology (EdTech) & AI, Learning Analytics, active learning, learner-centric approaches, and blended learning strategies
 
•    Lead/conduct research projects related to teaching and learning, including the application of learning analytics and evaluation of EdTech & AI interventions, and use research findings to inform the design and improvement of teaching strategies and practices
 
•    Evaluate, pilot, and support the implementation and adoption of EdTech & AI tools and solutions, in collaboration with stakeholders, to enhance student learning engagement

[What we are looking for]

•    At least 3-5 years of working experience as an educator or staff developer
•    Academic or professional qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
•    Strong interest in learning technologies, innovation, skills development, and continuous professional growth
•    Excellent communication (both spoken and written) and interpersonal skills
•    Meticulous with good analytical and critical thinking skills, positive work attitude and excellent time management skills
•    Able to work both independently and in a team and manage multiple tasks/projects within the same time period.
•    Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- AI in Education
- Data Analytics and/or Dashboard Building
- Learning Management Systems
- e-Learning Design and Development
